DESCRIPTION:Ken Marino and David Wain met at NYU in 1988 where they co-founded the legendary sketch comedy group THE STATE. Taylor brought together traditional Ghanaian music with American jazz and funk\, as well as the unstoppable groove of Afrobeat\, on albums like Ebo Taylor & The Pelikans and Tower Nyame. With longtime collaborator Pat Thomas—himself one of Ghana’s most beloved singers—he presents a soul-stirring exploration of rhythms and melodies from throughout his storied career. \nEbo Taylor and his family have decided to make this tour his official farewell to the Americas.
