SUMMARY:Coat and Comfort Drive
DESCRIPTION:Share the warmth. Spread the comfort. \nCoats keep people warm. Blankets help people rest. And shoes… shoes carry people through the hardest parts of winter. \nCoats\, blankets and shoes make immediate impact. A warm coat protects someone from the cold. A clean blanket brings comfort at night. And shoes keep their feet warm and dry. Shelters and outreach teams hand them out constantly because people depend on them every day. \nShoes are the essential many people overlook during these colder months. They wear down fast for anyone spending hours outdoors or walking long distances to reach basic services. When a pair gives out\, there is no backup waiting in a closet. That is why suitable and durable shoes are one of the most requested items in colder months. \nThe Frontwave Give360 Coat and Comfort Drive helps meet these essential needs and reminds us how much we can do together. Join us from December 1 through January 16 and help keep our neighbors warm\, protected and cared for this winter. \nWhat We Need \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWARM COATS\n\n\n\nA warm\, everyday coat that keeps someone protected from the cold.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLEAN BLANKETS\n\n\n\nA clean blanket that provides warmth and simple comfort when it’s needed the most.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDURABLE SHOES\n\n\n\nPractical shoes built for real miles: sneakers\, walking shoes or sturdy boots.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow to Donate \n\nDrop off new or gently used coats\, blankets and shoes at any Frontwave branch.\nBring donations to Frontwave Arena on event days or to the box office Monday through Friday\, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.\nMake a tax-deductible financial donation online and we will purchase the items needed most.\n\nEasy ways to find what to donate: \n\nIf you haven’t worn it in a while or have been saving it for “someday\,” now is the moment to pass it on.\nCheck closets for outgrown kids’ coats or blankets you’ve replaced.\nTake advantage of seasonal sales to grab an extra coat or pair of shoes.\nChoose items that are clean and in good condition so they can be used right away.\n\nEverything you share helps someone stay warm\, protected and cared for this winter. \nWho Your Donation Supports \nThe Frontwave Give360 Coat and Comfort Drive teams up with nonprofit partners across San Diego\, Imperial\, Riverside and San Bernardino counties to help more people stay warm and cared for this winter. These organizations meet people where they are and provide the essential support our neighbors count on. Click below to meet our partners and see the impact your donation helps create.

SUMMARY:Logan Richardson’s Blues PEOPLE
DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Kansas City\, Missouri—a city deeply rooted in jazz heritage—Logan Richardson is a distinguished alto saxophonist\, composer\, and producer known for his genre-defying approach to Black American Music. He began performing professionally at 16\, later studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston and The New School in New York City. Throughout his career\, Richardson has collaborated with an array of visionary artists\, including Pat Metheny\, Jason Moran\, and Nasheet Waits.  Logan Richardson’s visionary project — blues PEOPLE — merges blues\, rock\, soul\, and modern jazz into a sound that reflects the rich complexity of Black American culture. Inspired by Amiri Baraka’s seminal work\, “blues PEOPLE: Negro Music in White America\,” the band channels the evolution of Black music—from its roots in struggle to its boundless creative expressions today.
