SUMMARY:The Temptations and the Four Tops
DESCRIPTION:Temptations Revue ft. Nate Evans on Tour \n  \n“My Girl.” “Papa Was a Rolling Stone.” “I Can’t Get Next to You.” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg.” “Just My Imagination.” “The Way You Do the Things You Do.” “Treat Her Like a Lady.” If you’re a fan of classic soul music\, you know all of them by heart. They’re the hit songs of the Temptations\, some of the most beloved ever written\, performed by musicians who rose out of Detroit to eventually embody the aesthetic of Motown\, both the label and the sound. \n  \nOver the course of their 50-plus-year career\, the Temptations released four Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles and 14 R&B No. 1 singles. Their music has earned three Grammys\, including the first for Motown for 1969’s “Cloud Nine\,” and in 2013 they received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The founding members — Otis Williams\, Melvin Franklin\, Eddie Kendricks\, Paul Williams and David Ruffin — were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. “My Girl\,” “Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)” and “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone” are among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. This music is more than timeless. It’s at the very foundation of pop. \n  \nToday\, the Temptations Revue carries on the tradition started almost 60 years ago\, performing concerts to sold-out crowds across the United States. The Temptations Revue is led by Nate Evans\, the singer who was brought into the group decades ago by its founding members. Evans brings a cast of veteran vocalists to re-create the Temptations’ definitive five-part harmonies\, and they’re accompanied by an eight-piece band that provides proper live musical backing. From the dapper suits to the gentlemanly dance moves to note-perfect renditions of all those songs you know by heart\, the Temptations Revue is the full Temptations experience\, delivered here and now. \n\n\nShow less

SUMMARY:Aly & AJ with Amanda Shires
DESCRIPTION:The sister duo bring their new album’s Laurel Canyon sound and intimate storytelling to The Ford. \nAly & AJ burst onto Radio Disney and Billboard charts as teenagers with glossy pop hits like 2007’s “Potential Breakup Song.” But after a hiatus\, the duo has continually reinvented themselves\, producing increasingly mature and emotionally candid music drenched in a distinctly nostalgic California sound. Their 2023 album\, With Love From\, took inspiration from Americana\, country\, and ’70s rock acts like Fleetwood Mac for what Paste called “a dreamy road trip” with “heartfelt stories on a backdrop of outrageously addictive instrumentals.” \nFor Aly & AJ’s 2025 release\, Silver Deliverer\, the duo teamed up with producer Jonathan Wilson\, celebrated for his revival of the Laurel Canyon sound and known for his work with Father John Misty and Bonnie “Prince” Billy. Recorded in the Topanga Canyon with analog methods and live musicians\, Silver Deliverer draws in west coast harmonies and ripping electric guitar solos on vintage tube amps. Lyrically\, Aly & AJ offer intimate introspection about a range of personal topics including motherhood—as Aly spent the last three weeks of recording holding her own newborn. In announcing the album\, Aly & AJ write\, “This is rock music for wistful lovers\, new mothers\, and those who believe in divine intervention. And for listeners looking for a bit of hope and a deliverer in their own life.”
