SUMMARY:Off the 405: Madi Diaz
DESCRIPTION:Artists \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMadi Diaz is a Nashville-based singer\, songwriter\, and guitarist celebrated for her emotionally incisive lyrics and genre-blurring blend of folk\, alt-pop\, and Americana. Long admired within the songwriting community\, Diaz has expanded her reach through high-profile collaborations with artists like Harry Styles—who featured her on Harry’s House and invited her to join his world tour—and Kacey Musgraves\, who has praised Diaz’s deeply affecting voice and lyrical candor. \nHer 2024 album\, Weird Faith\, released on ANTI- Records\, marks a bold and vulnerable turn in her artistry. The record explores the murky territory of self-doubt\, intimacy\, and emotional resilience\, pairing aching melodies with sharp\, introspective lyrics. It features songwriting collaborations with Americana stalwart Lori McKenna and was nominated for Best Folk Album at the 2025 GRAMMY® Awards. \nIn addition to headlining her own shows\, Diaz has toured with artists such as Angel Olsen and Waxahatchee\, earning a devoted following for her honest\, magnetic stage presence. \nWith Weird Faith\, Diaz continues to establish herself as one of today’s most fearless and emotionally resonant songwriters.
