SAN CLEMENTE OCEAN FESTIVAL

San Clemente Ocean Festival remains a family oriented event with a wholesome atmosphere for families to enjoy as either spectators or participants. Today, the event attracts nearly 50,000 people annually from Orange, San Diego, Riverside, Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties, in addition to visitors from as far as Hawaii and Australia.

San Clemente Ocean Festival is a volunteer organization, dedicated to the promotion and support of ocean safety, the environment and the community by providing a quality athletic venue and enjoyable family event.

San Clemente Ocean Festival has provided support to many local groups and organizations including San Clemente Lifeguards and Pier Pride, plus scholarships for San Clemente’s Junior Lifeguard programs, Aquatic scholarships for programs offered through the City of San Clemente’s Beaches, Parks & Recreation Division, and the Ocean Institute’s Adopt-A-Class program that benefits local students.  In addition, scholarships have been awarded to graduating high school students. Emphasis is on marine safety, service and education.
