50th Annual Boat Parade of Lights

The Harbor’s much anticipated 50th Annual Boat Parade of Lights,  a Golden Jubilee, will take place December 12 – 14 with a “CAROL OF THE BOATS” theme. The parade begins nightly at 6:30 p.m. Boaters will decorate their vessels to the theme of the parade, for a chance to win up to $10,000 in cash prizes across several award categories, courtesy of Dana Point Harbor Partners.

Award categories include Best Use of Theme, People’s Choice, Supervisor’s Cup, Mayor’s Cup and more. Boaters can sign up online, or in person at The Marina at Dana Point office.

The public is welcome to view the parade from the boardwalk and park areas, reserve a table with a view from one of the harbor’s waterfront restaurants, or hop aboard a special boat parade charter.
